We are an independent music and arts collective dedicated to putting out radical soul music.
What is radical soul music? Music that is made by and for the Soul. Music that touches and empowers
the creative spirit within each of us. Beyond any one stylistic category, Radical Soul music is
conscious and positive music that brings both genres and people together. It is visionary music
that vibrates with new possibilities. Radical soul music does more than entertain. It inspires us
to live creatively. To take active part in the universal work of art called Life. Radical Soul is
the soundtrack to a world waking up to its own potential. Until now one had to look long and hard
to find new music with real Soul. S.P.P. is changing that. Our web site is a direct hook up to

S.P.P. helps promote, distribute, and support independent recording artists not affiliated with major labels. The big companies often overlook emerging artists with unique visions. In their obsession with marketing categories and demographics, the majors have forgotten that it is Soul that makes good music resonate with people. S.P.P. artists dedicate their lives to keeping the Soul in sonic form. Our members are incredibly hard working artists that face intense obstacles in their attempts to make creative contributions to the world. A lack of public awareness, industry indifference, and minimal resources all contribute to the difficulties faced by independent musical artists. Ceaseless effort is the primary weapon in our non stop struggle to survive. S.P.P. is an attempt to coordinate and synergize some of these efforts in ways that will benefit the collective whole.
Each member band gets a profile on S.P.P. We do a write up, post a photo, and provide a link to their site. In exchange each member band puts a link to S.P.P. on their web site, provides a song or two for compilations, helps promote the site with flyers at their shows, and does an occasional show with other member bands to help promote the site. The idea is that by uniting our efforts, independent bands can collectively make a larger public impact. By helping promote the site, member bands effectively promote each other. This has the effect of exponentially expanding fan bases and public exposure. At the same time fans of quality soulful music have a new tool in their quest to unearth the Soul missing from the corporate music industry.
SPP is looking for Regional Distributors and Street Team Members.
Regional Distributors help get the music to people who would like it. if you know people who like new, creative, soulful sounds, you can help us reach them while making some extra money in the process. We are looking for Regional Distributors to promote and sell music in your local area. We sell 5 or more copies at a sizeable bulk discount. You can then sell it at a mark up. This marked up price is still much lower than a typical retail CD, so everyone wins. You can play it at parties, at work, for friends, at concert parking lots, etc. You can even consign it to local record stores. The more people you can turn on to the music, the more cash you can take home.
Street Team members help promote shows in the area. In return they get in free to the gig, and will often get CD’s and unreleased live shows.
It is the support, energy, listening, and word of mouth from music fans that makes the music industry thrive. They should get a cut of the profits that they are helping to make. By replacing the mediocrity of the middle men with the enthusiasm and knowledge of real music fans, we can revolutionize the music industry.
