Not just my music but the musical essence of the world around us. We are smack dab in the middle of a great cosmic symphony and are only beginning to learn to listen.     Music is a lot of things to me. More than my work, play, art, and therapist, music has been my teacher in Life. It has helped me transform the way I see, experience, and interact with Life itself. It has profoundly changed my relationship to self and others. If there was one thing I could help contribute to this planet, it would be to give people the ability to see their Life in musical terms. We are all notes sounding in a divine composition. The trick is to understand and reclaim our role in the music of life. What sound(vibration) do we give off? How does it sound to(affect) others? How can we better harmonize or get in tune with the Universe and our role in it? The more aware of and in tune with the music within and around us we are, the more we are able to vibrate with our full resonant potential. This translates into living life as fearlessly, passionately, and creatively as possible. This is the essence of Living musically.     The higher Love in the Universe touched my Soul with music. It has shown me just how beautiful life can be when we take an active roll in its creation. I have seen how much change is possible when we become conscious and responsible for the results of our actions. I have seen how essential it is to develop the patience, focus, and motivation, to continually pursue a harmonious understanding of ourselves and others. What it has taken me to be a better musician is exactly what it has taken me to be a better and more loving human being. To evolve musically is ultimately to evolve spiritually. In both cases one must commit the depths of their Soul to overcome self doubt, negativity, ignorance, and limiting beliefs. One must be willing to sympathetically vibrate with the world around them. We must learn to compassionately resonate with others as a lost part of our selves waiting to be found.     For to many of us we cling to a concept of ourselves that keeps us trapped in painful and isolated belief patterns. We cling to the very thing holding us back. The part of us that perceives itself as unable to change is the exact part that we must leave behind. We can be unhappy, yet unwilling to get to the root cause of that unhappiness. In a culture of mass produced perceptions this is epidemic. Our higher potential has atrophied in a system that does not embrace what it cannot put a price tag on. To change the system we must embrace the creative part of us that can transform limitations, fears, doubts, negativity, and even negative situations into self awareness, compassion, love, endurance, and strength. Unless we are willing to develop the higher potential within us, we cannot expect the World to change.     The condition of our planet now demands that we live creatively. Passive consumption is leading us straight to oblivion. Our buying and tax dollars are now funding the very means of our extinction. We are being called to make a dramatic leap into new constructs of sustainable living. We are being asked to reinvent a system for living on Earth from the ground up. Life is demanding that we take responsibility for our actions and hold our leaders accountable for theirs. Either we use the creative part of us to build a livable future or we get to see where the dinosaurs went. The time to break with outmoded herd life is now or never. A more healthy, whole, conscious and kind world dwells within our creative spirit. We must utilize this lost part of us or face a world unable to heal itself. We must musicalize our planet or witness its disintegration.     To become one with the music of life we must be willing to leap into the unknown, face obstacles, and endure hardships. We must find creative ways to resolve the dissonance of ignorance and arrogance. We must make an active attempt to thwart the cacauphonous inertia of our greed, fear, laziness, and apathy. Unless each of us is willing to do this within ourselves the collective whole will continue to be out of tune with itself. The more of us that can tune in to the positive vibration of a loving universe capable of infinite reinvention, the more the impact of that vibrational influence will be felt. We are creating an empowered collective consciousness that will be too strong for the out of tune vibrations of dissonant ignorance to influence. The resonant vibration of conscious unity will become louder and louder until all can hear the self aware music of life. Listen for it. You can hear it already. To hear it is to become one with the part of ourselves capable of transforming all that is around us. sean@radicalsoul.com
